description

Summary

Work crews repair electrical lines in a mountaintop community in Naranjito. As of March 26, 2018, more than 94 percent of customers in Puerto Rico have power restored. The remaining six percent are located mostly in mountainous areas. Despite transportation and access challenges, work crews on the island are focusing their efforts in these remote areas, with the goal of achieving 95% restoration in these regions by late May.
