VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (July 25, 2018) Soldiers from the U.S. Army 11th Transportation Battalion board an Improved Navy Lighterage System (INLS) Causeway Ferry to begin offloading U.S. Army Oshkosh Heavy Expended Mobility Tactical Trucks (HEMTT) onto Utah Beach while participating in exercise Trident Sun 18 onboard Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek – Fort Story. Trident Sun 18 is a maritime prepositioning force (MPF) operation intended to provide training to reserve component personnel with regards to the in stream offload of military vehicles and equipment.
