Guiding the UH-1N Iroquois via the pilot, scanner First Lieutenant Matt Cotreras, USAF, 37th Helicopter Flight, 90th Space Wing, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, calls the movements as they drop, right on target, a bucket of water, spilling some of the contents. The goal is to guide a bucket of water dangling from the helicopter through the obstacles on the course without spilling the contents. The Helicopter Hover Competition course is flown with a crew of three, pilot and copilot with a flight engineer, or additional pilot as a scanner.
