Senior Airman Mason Disbennett, an aircraft maintenance
Summary
Senior Airman Mason Disbennett, an aircraft maintenance apprentice with the 910th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, waits to marshal a C-130H Hercules aircraft on Sept. 22, 2020, at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. As a means of fire prevention, Reserve Citizen Airmen from Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, traveled to Mountain Home AFB to conduct aerial spray operations to combat the growth of cheatgrass, an invasive winter annual. During wildfires, cheatgrass acts as an enabler, causing the fire to spread quickly to other vegetation such as sagebrush. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Christina Russo)
