Rail management and Labor executives confer with President Roosevelt. Washington, D.C., Sept. 20. Following a conference today with representatives of Railway Management and Labor at the White House, President Roosevelt announced that he had named an informal six-man committee to devise a broad plan of rail aid legislation for the next congress. The committee comprises three rail management executives and three rail labor chiefs. Attending today's conference were, left to right: Ernest E. Norris, President of the Southern R.R.; D.B. Robertson, representing locomotive firemen and engineers; George M. Harrison, President, Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks; Carl B. Gray ; Vice Chairman of the Union Pacific R.R.; M.W.
