Acne rosacea will yield to x-ray treatment in a very short time,when the exposures should be continued at irregular intervals untila cure has been effected. Hypertrichiasis (Excessive Hairiness.)—The author has neverrecommended the use of the x-ray for the removal of hair from theface in either men or women. To successfully remove the hairpermanently requires something more than mere tanning of theskin, and this may produce a slight degree of atrophy, which shouldbe avoided in conditions where the treatment is not absolutely neces-sary.
