Summary

Drawing of Sim Deuk-gyeong한국어: 요절한 심득경을 애도하여 윤두서가 그린 작품이다. 조선시대의 전통적인 초상화 양식을 따랐지만 기존의 초상화와 달리 필치가 부드럽고 담채(淡彩)가 은은하여 문인화가의 솜씨다운 면모가 두드러진다. 이 초상을 그린 후 심득경의 집에 보내 벽에 걸었더니 온 집안이 놀라서 울었는데, 마치 죽은 이가 되살아 온 것 같았다고 한다. 심득경이 세상을 떠난 후 기억만으로 그려냈지만 묘사와 표현이 실물과 매우 닮아서 생전의 모습을 그대로 전하는 듯하다. 그림에 쓰인 찬문(贊文)에서도 이 초상이 심득경의 모습과 인품을 아주 잘 나타냈다하여 감탄하고 있다.English: Portrait of Sim Deuk-gyeong
