At sea aboard USS Bonhomme Richard More than 1,000 Sailors and Marines gather at a Commanding Officer's Call atop the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). The ship's Commanding Officer, Capt. Stan V. De Geus, and the Marine Air Group One Three (MAG-13) Commanding Officer, Col. Mark R. Saverese, unveiled two AV-8B Harriers that had "USS Bonhomme Richard" stenciled on the aircraft. In a symbolic gesture of unity, Savarese had the ship's name painted on all the embarked Harriers.
