Medics and litter bearers unload simulated casualties
Summary
Medics and litter bearers unload simulated casualties from the back of an ambulance during 407th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade's mass casualty training exercise at Camp Ramadi, Iraq, June 16. This was the fourth MASCAL exercise the 2/82 has conducted since arriving to Ramadi, helping medics, doctors and first responders improve their ability to triage and treat patients. As one of the few units to have taken part in every major campaign of the U.S. military's operations in Iraq, the 2/82 has been tasked with ensuring that the Iraqi security forces are able to maintain a safe and secure environment for the Iraqi people as the 2/82 leads the transition of U.S. forces out of Iraq.
