Letter from Letter from William P. Weeks, Dorchester, [Massachusetts], to Amos Augustus Phelps, 1829 June 15
Summary
William P. Weeks writes to Amos A. Phelps regarding the townspeople of South Berswick who "like Mr. Keeler very much-he writes well and prays well but has the Andover failing-a want of energy in his delivery-when he first preached then was an apparent want of confidence in his self-needed a little of Parson's boldness-but he has improved much in his respect and now preaches with more life and animation-I think him a promising young man." He writes of his journey from Dover to Concord. He asks Phelps for Mr. Bonton's address.
