No. 3160. ILLUSTRATION IS AN ANTEROPOSTERIOR, SLIGHTLYOBLIQUE VIEW. PATIENT LYING FACE DOWNWARD It will be observed that the gas is present in pockets at different areas dueto the fixation of viscera as the result of peritoneal adhesions. These adhe-sions can be distinctly identified in this radiogram, along the ascendingcolon, between the liver and colon, between the liver and parietal wall nearthe distal margin, etc. The gall bladder which appears with almost liver density, extending fromthe distal surface of the liver, is also involved in peritoneal adhesions. This case gives a history of gall bladder drainage and later resection. Isat present suffering from severe digestive phenomenon. PNEUMOPERITONEUM — ORNDOFP 283
