In the majority of cases, the results fitter two orthree years are equally good with roentgen ray treatmentor with surgery. 2. After surgery the metabolism shows a rapid prelim-inary fall, a secondary rise followed by a final fall; and thatwith roentgen treatment there is a gradual and progressivefall. 3.
