Summary
(From left to right) Spc. Sandra Gillespie and Sgt. Shannon Welsh, both of the 191st Military Police Company, walk along a rural flood protection levee near Kindred, N.D., April 26. The soldiers are monitoring the flood levees to make sure there are no erosion areas developing that can turn into major flood barrier breaches, which could threaten the town of Kindred. About 150 North Dakota National Guard members continue to conduct quick reaction force missions and dike patrols, and run a tactical operations center in support of flood-fighting efforts in North Dakota.
