Conversion. Rendering of household fats. Valuable fats from waste household greases are recovered by a pressure process in an expeller at a rendering plant. These fats drain into a settling tank and are later drawn off into tallow storage tanks, from where they are conveyed to a soap plant for the making of soap and glycerin
