This wonderful strain of Parsnip is in great de- mand and our ,own private stock consists or more than a ton of finest seed of 1919 crop. PARSNIP One of the few winter vegetables. The roots are per^ fectly hardy and are improved in flavor by the action of the frost. Roots can be dug during thaws in winter or very early in spring, when a change of food is most rel- ished. They are boiled whole, then sliced thin and fried brown with salt pork. Improved Guernsey (Sliv—This is not the coarse Stock Guernsey, but the taule variety of that name, the sweetest, finest-grained Parsnip grown. Smooth, thick roots, about twelve inches long. Very line stewed, fried, etc. Pkt., 5c; oz., 15c; lb., $1.23. Childs' Smooth Hollow Crown Parsnip (Special Low Offer) (811) The very finest strain of Parsnip grown. We harvested a crop of more than a ton of this seed last season. All hand picked and carefully cured. We are glad to have this magniiicent stock to'offer our patrons, as no really good Parsnip seed was to be had in 1018 at any price.
