This new airplane, key weapon in America's war program, is now in mass production at the Boeing Aircraft Company. Under a special tri-company production pool arrangement, it is also being built in quantity by the Douglas Aircraft Company and by the Vega Aircraft Company, a subsidiary of Lockheed Aircraft Corporation
