FIFTH FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (Dec. 03, 2007) An F/A-18 Hornet assigned to the "Gunslingers" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 105, launches from the flight deck of the Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) during flight operations. Truman and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 3 are underway on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of maritime operations.
