PACIFIC OCEAN (Apr. 07, 2014) An F/A-18 Hornet assigned to the "Blue Blasters" of Strike Fighter Attack Squadron (VFA) 34, launches from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Ronald Reagan is underway after successfully completing its final evaluation program, a graded event where trainers test the ship's ability to conduct combat missions, survive complex casualties and sustain support functions.
