The third is that of suction or dry cupping. The extentand duration of the vacuum is under the control of the operator, whocan instantly relieve the pressure by raising his finger even when themotor is at its maximum speed. It will be seen that all the movements of the skilled masseurcan be made by the pneuma-massage pump. The cups can be madeof any material, but glass is preferable for the reason that you canalways see what you are doing and the smooth edges fit the parts.These cups can be made in all sizes, about six being all that are neededfor general work.
