Fracture of upper end of tibia and fibula mainly by forced abduction of leg ; z-ray tracing. pain on local pressure and on pressing the leg upward, and possiblyabnormal mobility and crepitus. In high transverse fractures caremust be taken not to mistake the injury for a subluxation of the knee.Prognosis.
