The heads of both fifthmetatarsal bones are irregular in outline.The articulating surfaces of the bones form-ing the metatarso-phalangeal joints of bothfifth metatarsals are irregular in outline. be circular in outline, the borders are moreor less well-defined and vary in diameterfrom one to five millimeters. The soft tissuesin the regions of the first and fifth meta-tarso-phalangeal articulation of both feetshow slight nodular thickening. The largerarteries of the feet are visible.
