Cotton.) 808 DISEASES OF THE ^EKXOIS SYSTIvM. the forehead wrinkled transversely, from the constant assistance which thelevatores palpebrarum derive from the occipito-frontalis muscle in theopening of the eye; the lips large and thick, with transverse fissures; thetongue long, thick, and much roughened; the nose small; the skin has aslightly dirty, yellowish tinge, and is deficient in elasticity, giving thea^^pearance of being too large for the body.
