Cassibile, Sicily (Sept. 6, 2003) -- Local Italians look on as the Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella's Stephen Decatur School NJROTC color guard marches through the streets of Cassibile, Sicily, during a parade and ceremony honoring the 60th anniversary of the signing of the armistice between Italy and the Allies during World War II. Cassibile was the site of the signing which occurred on Sept. 8, 1943. NAS Sigonella provides logistical support for Sixth Fleet and NATO forces in the Mediterranean Sea.
