As Wuerth described, "In foreground Brooklyn docks and shipping, across the river the white fruit boat, behind which the wharves and lower portions of the buildings form a complete mass. Colors, blue, black, gray, coral, maroon, yellow, white, orange, purple and pink, on heavy gray cardboard."
