Georges Trubert was a French painter who lived in the late Gothic period. He was born in 1469 and died in 1508. Not much is known about his life, but it is thought that he worked in the city of Tours, in the Loire Valley of France. Trubert is known for his religious paintings, often depicting scenes from the Bible. His style was characterised by a strong use of colour, with bright and vibrant hues often dominating his compositions. He was also known for his attention to detail, particularly in his depictions of clothing and textiles. Some of his most famous works include 'The Adoration of the Magi' and 'The Virgin and Child with St Anne'. His paintings were highly sought after during his lifetime and are still admired today for their beauty and technical skill.
