Summary
British-India SN Co 3,481 GRT steamship RMS Quetta. Built by Denny Bros. of Dumbarton in 1881, the Quetta left Brisbane on 18 February, 1890, bound for London via the Torres Strait. She was wrecked near Thursday Island on 28 February, 1890, and of 291 people aboard, 133 were drowned. (From description supplied with photograph.)
