Summary

Ovale borstelrug van blauw beschilderde faïence, beschilderd met bladeren en bloemenranken en langs de rand een bloemmotief. De borstelrug is sinds 1958 in bruikleen afgestaan aan J.H. Loudon (Aerdenhout) en iin maart 1996 geretourneerd.

In the early 17th century, tin-glazed earthenware was made in Holland, in the town of Delft, whence the art was introduced into England. Delft thus refers to tin-glazed wares produced both in the Netherlands and in England.
