Summary
Epaphras Goodman writes to Amos A. Phelps and requests that he (Phelps) give a lecture or a course of lectures at Dracut. He discusses a variety of matters, including the progress of abolitionism in Dracut, his plan to attend the Worcester convention, Dr. Hudson’s plan for a school without distinction of color, an aborted plan to collect fund at Hartford, and “the Boston controversy.”
