Elizur Wright Jr. writes to Amos A. Phelps regarding the plan of organization of auxiliaries and arrangement with the New Engalnd Society which has been "ratified with a simple amendment, of saving to our agents the night of transmitting to our Society directly such donations as are made expectedly for that purpose." He writes of his plans to raise funds for the society. He writes that "want of friends has compelled us to vote that the A.S. Reporter be suspended after the next number."
