Summary
Indenture of 1818. Leasing a stall in Market House for three years at fifty-one cents per week for the sale of meats. This Indenture, made the twenty seventh day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighteen. Witnesseth, that Tim Thompson, Sam Payson, Thomas Harris, Elias Phinney, Leonard M. Parker, Sam Jacquis Jr. and John Tufts, Selectmen of Charlestown Gentlemen a stall in the Market House numbered Five, as the stalls in said House are now designated, for the common and ordinary purpose of vending animal provisions of the various kinds, only; and subject to such regulations as may, at any time be established by the Town of Charlestown, for the Government of said Market House. To hold for the term of Three Years, from the first day of December next, yielding and paying therefor the rent of Fifty One cents per Week.
