Summary
Print shows, at top, a bird's-eye view of the former Manor House of Paris Garden, now known as Holland's Leaguer, a brothel, with view of the gardens and surrounding moat, also shows a guard at the entrance; and at bottom, a map of the environs enclosed within a loop with the "Old Barge House Stairs" on the upper left, "Christ Church" at bottom center, and the "Paris Garden Stairs" on the upper right, with "Hollands Leger" at right center, just south of the "Upper Ground" and the "Glass House Yard". Eight lines of verse separate the two images: "Unto this I stand and great Plutoes Court, / none are deny'd that willingly resort, / Charon or'e Phlegeton will set on shoare, / and Cerberus will guard you to the doore: / Where dainty Devils drest in humane shape, / upon your senses soone will make a rape. / They that come freely to this house of sinne, / in Hell as freely may have entrance in."
