Provenance: Made for Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy (d. 1467). Purchased by G.J. Gérard at the sale at Mons of Mme. de Montfort, canonnes of the Chapter of St. Wandru; acquired in 1832 as part of the coll. of G.J. Gérard of Brussels (no. A 3)
