Captain Matiullah Sediqi, 3rd Brigade Surgeon with the Afghan National Army’s 215th Corps, checks on one of his patients as a combat medic with the newly established medical kandak resets an IV. Sediqi works at the corps’ Troop Medical Clinic and is in charge of all the medical personnel attached to the 3rd Brigade. He said he believes the new medical kandak will be able to provide better health care to Afghan soldiers with a better flow of operations.
