Description: View of the Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package (ALSEP) Station and Charged Particle Lunar Environment Experiment (CPLEE) Package. The Apollo Simple Penetrometer (ASP), in position as anchor for the geophone cable, is shown in the left middle ground. Approximately 15 cm. of the penetrometer shaft are visible above the lunar surface. Images were taken by Astronauts Shepard and Mitchell during EVA 1 of the Apollo 14 mission. Original film magazine was labeled JJ,film type was S0168 (High Speed Color Reversal,Interior/Surface),60mm lens with a sun elevation of 12 degrees.
