As part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Iraqi Army Soldiers from the 3rd Brigade, 6th Division out of Camp Constitution depart for Operation Northern Lights near Baghdad on March 22, 2006. Their part in the operation was to conduct a cordon and search of a sector in the Ibrahim bin Ali suburbs of western Baghdad for terrorists, weapons caches and IED making materials.
