XVIII Airborne Corps Soldiers pass the main headquarters
Summary
XVIII Airborne Corps Soldiers pass the main headquarters building, March 26, at Fort Bragg, N.C., during a corps level run. This run served as Lt. Gen. Joseph Anderson’s final run with the troops as commander of America’s contingency corps. Anderson, who will transition out of command later this spring, assumed command of the XVIII Airborne Corps in July 2013 and led the Corps to Afghanistan to serve as the International Security Assistance Force Joint Command headquarters, closing the unit at the conclusion of NATO’s combat mission in December 2014.
