The ENTERPRISE and embarked Carrier Air Wing One (CVW 1) are currently conducting training and theater security cooperation engagements with countries from the Naval Forces Europe during their six-month deployment in gthe Atlantic Ocean

The first aircraft carrier commissioned into the United States Navy was USS Langley (CV-1) on 20 March 1922.
