Australian and U.S. combat service support personnel play a vital role during Talisman Sabre 2011 building the infrastructure needed to support about 23,000 exercise participants. Talisman Sabre 2011 1 is a biennial combined training exercise designed to train Australian and U.S. forces in planning and conducting Combined Task Force operations to improve Australian Defence Force/U.S. combat readiness and interoperability.
