Summary
Significance: Due to the crucial role it played in the Nation's defense during the twentieth century and the calamitous events which occurred on December 7, 1941, the Naval Base at Pearl Harbor was designated as a National Historic Landmark. Built in 1941, Building 160 is classified as a Category 3 facility, as it was determined to be of minor importance to the historical character of the National Historic Landmark. This building is located approximately 200 feet from "Bravo" piers where many destroyers were berthed during the 1941 attack.
