Marine Aircraft Group 24 (MAG-24) conducted the flyby operation to improve interoperability between air and ground elements that included HMLA-367 and Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463 operating in the air while Marine Wing Support Detachment 24 and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 24 maintained Forward Arming and Refueling Points (FARPs) on the ground.
