U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. AASE is a bilateral training event focused on strengthening the alliance between the Philippines and the U.S. Shibata, from Honolulu, Hawaii, is the platoon commander with 2nd Platoon, Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Division and is attached through the Unit Deployment Program to III Marine Expeditionary Force.
