U.S. Army Maj. (Dr.) Eric Weber (left), an ophthalmologist from Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Bethesda, Md.,gives a Dominican mother post-operations instructions for her son, who had surgery the day before, while an intrepreter (right) translates July 25 at the Central Hospital of the Armed Forces in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Dominican physicians, including medical interns and medical residents, worked side by side with U.S. military doctors and ophthalmologists July 10-27 during a medical readiness and training exercise planned by the U.S. Army Medical Command and U.S. Army South.
