Roy, the commanding general of Joint Task Force - Civil Support, during a visit to Camp Atterbury, Ind., July 22, 2014, as part of exercise Vibrant Response 14. Vibrant Response is a Defense Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Response Force (DCRF) training event. The exercise focuses on Department of Defense support of civil authorities in a consequence management role. The DCRF is part of DoD's scalable response capability to assist civilian responders in saving lives, relieving human suffering and providing critical support community recovery following a catastrophic CBRN incident.
