U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 77th Wing Shaw Air Force Base takes off for a Close Air Support mission flight during the 2010 Falcon Air Meet, Oct. 24, 2010, Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, Azraq, Jordan. Shaw AFB once again is attending the Falcon Air Meet after previously attending in 2007, The Falcon Air Meet is a friendly competition centered on the F-16 Fighting Falcon. F-16 units from Jordan, U.S. Air Force, and the UAE along with a Mirage unit from Pakistan are competing in the fifth annual event hosted by Jordan and the Royal Jordanian air force.
