Ugandan People’s Defense Forces Brig. Gen. Silver Kayemba, ATLAS DROP 11 exercise director and chief of training and operations for the UPDF, and Lt. Col. Jeffrey Dickerson, AD11 deputy director and commander of U.S. Task Force Atlas, answer questions during a live radio talk show at an FM station in Soroti known as the “Voice of Teso” to inform the public about the joint military exercise, April 12. ATLAS DROP, an annual joint aerial-delivery exercise sponsored by U.S. Army Africa that brings together U.S. Army personnel with counterparts from the UPDF, is designed to enhance the readiness of both countries’ resupply and logistical capabilities, and will consist of classroom instruction and a field training exercise.
