Pre Columbian Tunic, Peru - Public domain dedication image
Summary
Public domain reproduction of illuminated manuscript page, classical or archaic, free to use, no copyright restrictions image - Picryl description.
The best preserved monuments of the Huari culture are located near the towns of Quinua, Chiclayo and Pikilyacta (the latter not far from Cusco on the "road" to Lake Titicaca). An interesting Huari monument are the petroglyphs of Toro Muerto. In December 2008, the well-preserved city of Cerro Patapo was discovered in northern Peru (until then, the Huari kingdom was thought to have occupied only the southern coast). Traces of human sacrifice have been found in the city.
