Summary

Troopers from Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment fired their M252 81 mm Mortar systems at Adazi Military Base, Latvia, March 19, 2015. The troopers fired upon a series of targets in preparation for their upcoming joint multinational training exercise, Operation Summer Shield. The 2nd CR has conducted numerous exercises alongside various national forces throughout the Baltic region in the past several months to enhance interoperability with NATO allies.
