The second National Silicosis Conference in a report to Secretary of Labor Perkins today, recommended enactment of X state and federal laws for protection of 1,000,000 Miners subjected to dangers of silica dust. Appearing before the Senate Finance Committee today, Undersecretary of the Treasury Roswell Magill suggested retention of the undistributed profits tax in the new revenue bill and strongly recommend elimination of tax exemption for government securities.
