The renovated C-141B Starlifter model debuts at Joint Base Charleston – Air Base, South Carolina, Sept. 7, 2016. The model was dedicated to the crew of a real C-141 that crashed in Tennessee. Nine active duty military aircrew members died on Aug. 30, 1982. C-141’s were stationed at Charleston Air Force Base from Aug. 14, 1965 to Sept. 7, 2000.
