Princess Elizabeth was crowned Queen Elizabeth II on 2 June 1953. The ceremony took place in Westminster Abbey and was the first televised Coronation. She was crowned Queen of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ceylon and Pakistan.
